A seaside garden on the Atlantic shore, drawn to the wind and the salt. Hedgerows of native privet frame the house; beach roses and beach grass hold the dunes below.

A small walled cutting garden sits in the lee of the house, protected from the weather. The composition is intentionally modest — the long views to the water remain the principal event.
